2020 OC Chapter Board Elections Are Closed

Picture
Over the past several months, the board sent out several notices regarding open board positions and seeking new volunteers to fill open positions for the upcoming year. Fortunately, two new volunteers stepped forward to take positions on the board for 2020.
Matt Klock, past Vice-Chairman, was nominated for the Chairman position.
Gary Moore was gracious in offering to fill the Vice-Chairman position for the same term. Both were ratified through the electronic ballots sent out in December.

However, in order to fill out the board for the initial few months, Ed Hoffman and Earle Graham agreed to remain on in the Treasurer and Secretary positions respectively and were also ratified. Unfortunately, neither of them can continue on the board past the first quarter of 2020.
The board was recently advised by one member that he has tentatively agreed to fill the Secretaries position for 2020, but that will leave the treasurers position open in the near future. It is crucial that this position be filled no later than the first quarter of 2020. Both Ed and Earle will stay on to guide and support the new members in fulfilling their specific board duties.

Without a Treasurer, the chapter cannot function effectively. We are strongly requesting one qualified chapter member to step forward for the 2020 term and volunteer to help the team drive the chapter forward and continue the progress of growth and improved programs already in place. In return, the chapter board member who volunteers will achieve the satisfaction of working alongside a team of professionals who share a common goal of improving the chapter with continued benefits of quality programs to the members. Board certified members also earn additional educational units as a board member volunteer.

The installation of the new board will be held during our January Meeting even though they take office in that month of 2020. Once the additional board positions are filled, a second ratification and swearing in of these officers will occur

The positions for the chapter board are described as follows:
