ASIS OC Chapter40, Region 1D

ASIS is dedicated to the professional development of its members and is constantly striving to improve professionalism and liaisons in the security and law enforcement communities.  Members are encouraged to seek professional development through education, partnership and mentoring.
 
In order to develop and maintain professionally qualified people, ASIS OC Chapter 40 Region 1D has installed liaisons for various aspects of security and law enforcement.  The following ASIS Chapter 40 members will be responsible for such development.

CPP Review Course

Susan Walker

The 2018 CPP Review Course is a mentor-directed course where lectures are minimized and simulations, group discussions and domain-specific presentations via MS Power Point constitute the primary methods of learning. 

Mentors and CPP candidates, by combining their collective resources, talents and experience, and by distributing learning responsibilities accordingly, are able to cover more material than could be achieved through individual effort.  Mentors are responsible for conducting a group presentation to the class.

Law Enforcement Liaison

Paul Scauzillo

The Law Enforcement Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies with the purpose of fostering professional working relations.
 
In addition, the Law Enforcement Liaison is responsible for assisting those leaving government service for a career in the private sector.  If you are interested in more information, please contact Lt. Paul Scauzillo, LASD Ret.

Women in Security Liaison

The Women in Security Liaison is responsible for mentoring, providing resources and training options to women who are, or desire to be in the security profession.  Click here for the Women in Security Brochure to learn more.

The liaison is also responsible for recruiting qualified women into the field and into ASIS as well as providing guidance to the individual on professional certifications in ASIS.

Young Professionals Liaison

The Young Professionals Liaison is responsible for mentoring, providing resources and training options to those persons who are new to, desire to start a career in the security profession.

In addition, the liaison is also responsible for recruiting qualified individuals into the field, into ASIS and providing guidance on professional certifications in ASIS.
